What happened to the ClipViews category?
Hey, where are all the images you had here? Yes, WebClipz used to have a ClipView directory where we displayed clipart from selected top-rated sites.

The hope was that this would help you in deciding which sites to visit for a particular type of clipart. Unfortunately, the WebClipz site bandwidth has been hammered serveral times by individuals who were hotlinking (linking directly to images on this website). Because of this we have discontinued displaying images for now, just to keep the site running smoothly.

Please do not link directly to images on other web sites without their explicit permission. This is bandwidth theft, plain and simple. Download images and save them on your local PC, then upload them to YOUR web server.

How do I know if I am Hotlinking?
If you have a link on your web page that points directly to an image on another web site: “http://www.NOTYourSite.com/images/anImage.gif” , then you are hotlinking, and you are stealing bandwidth from that site.

If you want to use an image you find on the web (and the site owner or author states that you may freely download that image), right click on the image, select ‘Save Image As’ from the menu and save it on YOUR local PC, then upload it to YOUR web server and reference the path from there: “http://www.yourSite.com/images/anImage.gif“

Practice good Network Etiquette (Netiquette), please do not link directly to images on other websites. It is often not required, but it is also good practice to provide a reference link back to the site you downloaded the image from.

What happened to Reviews?
Hey, I have something to say, what happened to the Review/Comment links? Well in a nutshell, Comment Spammers. Once again, we got hammered. Really sad when the inconsiderate few, so adversely affect the internet experience of the majority of well behaved surfers.

What about those annoying pop-up ads?
WebClipz.com DOES NOT use any ‘pop-up’ ads on this site. When selecting links, if you should receive a pop-up ad, this means that you’ve navigated off the WebClipz site. You are on another web site which is beyond our control. Try using the Mozilla Firefox browser - it blocks more pop-ups than MS Internet Explorer. We DO pay attention to our visitors comments, so please Contact us if you should reach an objectionable site.
